Beautiful Courtyard & Green Space

District Flats boasts a beautiful, private courtyard that features a centuries-old oak tree.  The gated courtyard offers residents a private, tranquil green space escape just steps from the historic downtown area.

Fitness Area

Residents have 24 hour-a-day access to a gym complete with three commercial-quality cardio machines, a weight bench and free weights. Take your pick between a treadmill, an elliptical machine and an exercise bicycle. A commercial grade weight bench is available for use with a full set of free weights. There’s ample extra floor space to do a fitness routine or yoga workout facing the mirrored wall or facing the TV mounted on the opposite wall.

Living Room/TV/Game Room

This room is designed to give residents a comfortable space to watch the big screen TV, play a game (there’s a collection of old board games and decks of cards in the built-in cabinets), or just have a change of venue to work on your laptop. The space features decor and framed pictures and art, some of which originated in Pascagoula, such as a picture of a submarine launched at Ingalls Shipbuilidng back in the seventies and an aeriol shot of Pascagoula from that period of time.

Shared Working Spaces

The space started as a law office, so we decided to re-purpose some of those old law desks into shared workspaces for anyone to use. Maybe you work remote and just want to work from another vantage point for a while. Or maybe you’re working on a project and need to spread everything out on a desk. Whatever the need, we have two of these areas for our residents to enjoy.

Reading Libraries

Beautiflul, original built-in cabinets and bookshelves can be found throughout the main building at District Flats. One set of shelves on the second floor still features a collection of law books. But there are four additional areas featuring bookshelves and seating for residents to sit an enjoy a good book. Those shelves are filled with a variety of books. One particular area has the books divided into sections: Classics & Philosophy, Art, Nature, Religion, Fiction, Cookbooks and even some Children’s books. It would take a while to exhaust the available reading options throughout the building,

Grand Lobby

The elegant lobby with its double staircase and chandelier is one of the most significant architectural features of the building. It has beautiful sitting  areas and is a great place for morning coffee, a glass of wine or to read a book.
